Deb's Egyptian Bellydancer's and the Silk Road Bellydancer's performing at Ifield May Fayre
03/05/2010Deb's Egyptian Bellydancer's and the Silk Road Bellydancer's are taking part in the Ifield May Fayre in Crawley Sussex on Monday 3rd May 2010. The parade will start off from St Margaret's School in Ifield at 11:00 with the ladies taking part and the parade will finish at St Margaret's Church in Ifield. The ladies will then be performing a half hour display at 12:45 in the Ifield Barn Theatre. Come along to meet the girls and teachers and get a feel for authentic Egyptian Bellydance!
Orient Expressions Hafla and Workshop Dates
15/03/2010Shiraz has released the 2010 dates for the Orient Expressions Workshops and Haflas: held in Angmering: 9th May Workshop with Galit Mersand and Hafla 11th July Hafla 12th September Hafla 14th November Workshop (teacher to be announced) and Hafla There is an open stage in the Hafla for group and Solo dances. DJ is DJ Ali Khatt. On the 9th May and 14th November Recaptured Memories will be there with their selection of vintage style and bellydance jewellery. 05/03/2010I am pleased to announce that the DVD for Bellydance for Heroes is now available to buy from www.shortfilmcompany.com who are also making a donation to Help for Heroes. Photographs can also be viewed at www.photoinspirations.co.uk and the photographer Brenda is also donating to Help for Heroes. Also the show is reviewed in the latest edition of Nafoura Magazine which is now available to read free online at www.nafouramagazine.com, who donated some £500 worth of advertising to the event!
